What We Believe
We preach the crucified and risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Through his sufferings, death, and resurrection, we have forgiveness for all of our sins and the gift of life forever in heaven.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the only authority for Christian faith and life.
The WELS has congregations all across the United States, and carries out mission work throughout the world. Divine Grace offers friendship, support, counsel, direction, and love. We care about you!
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Voss has been serving as pastor at Divine Grace since the summer of 2003. He was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from Northwestern College in Watertown, WI in 1986, and from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI in 1990. He spent the first 13 years of his ministry serving as an associate pastor at Salem Lutheran Church in northwest Milwaukee before coming to Divine Grace.
In addition to serving as pastor at Divine Grace, Pastor Voss is also the Vice President of the Michigan District of the WELS. He thoroughly enjoys preaching, teaching, and interacting with God’s people both young and old.
Pastor Voss and Lori are blessed with four wonderful daughters, three sons-in-law, two granddaughters, and a grandson. Pastor is a huge sports fan (especially his beloved Green Bay Packers) and enjoys doing all kinds of DIY projects around the house.

Our History
Divine Grace’s first church service was held in the Community Room at First Federal Savings, Lake Orion on January 6, 1974. We broke ground for our church and parsonage 3 years later.
Christian education was a strong focus of the congregation from the very beginning. Once the congregation was large enough to support expanding we added a Fellowship and Education Center and soon opened our Childcare and Preschool. We added an Elementary School in 1989 and have been blessed with many talented and dedicated teachers and pastors ever since.
Our congregation currently has over 350 members and we continue to offer a quality Christian education for students from 3 year olds through 8th grade as well as numerous Bible study opportunities for the adults.
